An Exclusive Peek At The Story Behind Cedar Rose

Behind the Scenes:

Cedar Rose is a new clothing line that Murdoch’s launched only one year ago. It’s exclusive to Murdoch’s, and after speaking with a woman named Laura McCloney, I learned that there is a very good reason why only Murdoch’s carries this cute brand… Murdoch’s designs it.

I talked to Laura about her job as Murdoch’s lead women’s fashion buyer and why she felt the need to curate Murdoch’s own fashion collection. As a buyer, Laura meets regularly with iconic brands like Wrangler, Ariat, Miss Me, Silver, and Cowgirl Tuff, to name only a handful of our partners. Together with these leading brands, she selects pieces from their seasonal lines, all of which we love year after year. Yet, none of these brands is specifically designed only for the women who shop at Murdoch’s, and that’s where Cedar Rose comes into play.

In the video, you’ll learn a lot about her experience working in the western clothing retail industry and what her role specifically looks like. At the heart of Cedar Rose is this fact: women who shop with Murdoch’s have very specific needs, and with Cedar Rose, Laura is able to pinpoint those needs and serve customers better than ever.

Check out the video, then check out Cedar Rose.
